Students will follow all school rules and teacher expectations. When the rules are broken, the following consequences will occur:
Class DOJO
Our class will be using Class DOJO. Each student has their own avatar and can earn points during class time. Your point totals can earn you rewards.
Ways to earn points:

- Geometry
- Statistics and probability
There will be a test on every chapter as well as a midterm and final exam.
Grading Scale
Each assignment and test will be scored as a percent out of 100 points.
- Homework/Class assignments count for 60% of your overall grade.
- Tests/Quizzes count for 40% of your overall grade.
Supplies
All students will need:
- Pencil and eraser
- One subject spiral notebook
- One subject composition notebook
- Highlighters OPTIONAL.
- When you arrive in the room, begin working on the Daily Warmup activity on the board.
- We will check homework together. The class will pass their papers to the front, where someone will turn it in to their class slot.
- Notes will be taken in your math notebook.
- You may begin working on homework in class if time allows.
- Homework is due the day after it is assigned unless stated otherwise.
- We will check the work together in class for a grade.
- Checked homework will be turned into your class “IN” slot.
- Completed homework will be rewarded with a DOJO point.
- Collected homework assignments will be passed back in class.
- Absent Work: Students will have the same number of days to make up work as they were absent. After that, the work will be considered late.
- Late Work: Will only be accepted until the next chapter test for 10% off your grade. Missing work will be recorded as 0%.
- Redo Assignments: You may redo an assignment if your score was below 70% for a better grade. The new grade will be the average of both grades but may not exceed 70%. Redo assignments will only be accepted until the next chapter test.
- Follow all school rules.
- Students will come to class prepared with all necessary supplies.
- Students will remain in their assigned seats for the duration of class.
- NO BATHROOM PASSES WILL BE SIGNED DURING INSTRUCTION.
- Work time is SILENT time.
- You must raise your hand during class.
- NO PHONES OR HEADPHONES IN CLASS!
- TRY YOUR BEST.

- Being kind/respectful
- Helping others or the teacher
- Working hard/being on task

- Adding notes to shout out board or question of the week
Class DOJO is meant to be a fun way to reward students for good behavior!! You can keep track of your own points by getting the App or logging in on your computer. Your login codes will be given to you.
